The 2.7 chevy engine is not supposed to compete with 2.7 ecoboost as the chevy engine was a replacement for the base 4.3 v6. 2.7 ecoboost is comparable to the chevy 5.3.

I've had 3 different f150s with the 2.7 ecoboost. Probably my favorite engine in any current truck after having one for some time. Great fuel economy and great pull for such a small engine. The 4 cylinder in the Chevy just does not pull as well

I got the 2D base model, no off-road options, in Eruption Green, 7spd manual. Very classic look with good highway ride.

The Toyota Tacoma is produced mainly in Tecate Baja California for a whopping cost of 8750 dollars including labor,parts and taxes but yet the cheapest they sell it to the American consumer is 20,000 dollars and that’s probably ALL automakers yet they cry and cry how they are in grave risk of only making hundreds of millions in profits instead of billions 😢😢😢 but the worst part is the consumer cries even harder about the ripoffs but yet they keep bending over and asking for more instead of all united boycotting the automakers and forcing them to sell their cars at a more reasonable price

2 Land Cruisers, a Jeep and a Ford Bronco Raptor is 1. A lot of money for 4 vehicles 2. Really lousy gas mileage 3. Questionable (at best) reliability for the Jeep and Bronco...or any Ford or Jeep products these days...in fairness, the known issue with the leaking sunroofs in the Toyota Land Cruiser and no recall or warranty consideration is both concerning and disappointing from Toyota). If an $8,000 repair is "bankrupting", why all the vehicles and the potential for problems like this? I

Due to sad history, my wife requires crush zones. The Prius has no crush zones. 40-ish MPG is wondrous versus the 12.5 of my '79 FJ-40 Land Cruiser. ;-)

The 2.7 in the Ford for a win. It’s been a surprisingly reliable engine. Also the cadence of the turn signal in the Chevy would irritate me.
